Johnny found his 15 minutes of fame when featured on one of the programs in series 2 with Chef Sat Bains. Johhny is proud to supply meat for Sat and his Parma Ham was the choice for Sat's starter dish 'Ham eggs and peas'.

About the BBC Great British Menu.
Last year the prize was to cook for the Queen for her 80th birthday celebrations. This year the challenge facing the chefs was to convince the French that we can match them when it comes to gastronomic prowess. Each week two top chefs from a different region competed head-to-head to win the chance to cook for the British ambassador to France at the magnificent British embassy in Paris.
Sourcing the best ingredients from their local area, the chefs created a starter, a fish course, a meat course and a dessert that they believe epitomises all that's best about their beloved region. At the end of each week each of their menus was judged by an expert panel and one chef's menu was chosen to go through to the national final, to compete for a place on the Great British Menu 2007.
